This curated collection starts out with many series of thrift trips where I careful select my victims of art. Something that was very important to me while choosing my bases was to pick high quality pieces in excellent condition that will hold up to many more years of love and wear.

After choosing and washing my items I start the process of photographing and sketching out my design. Each design has to fit onto the piece in an organic way and this step is crucial to a cohesive final product.

Then comes the fun part. I layering scraps from my fabric collection together and using both my machine and hand stitching snippets together to create the final works of art.

I give everything one last wash to make sure it stays in place, add a tag, and it’s ready for some to give the piece a special home!
